Rules & FAQs

RULES:

General Rules Common To All Levels

1) All purchases are FOB Kansas City. Most products will not have any shipping costs to K.C., but all orders will have shipping costs from K.C. to the club member.

2) "Dealer's cost" can and does change, though rarely, without notice.

3) All orders will have a seven dollar "handling fee" added. This fee is independent from any shipping fees. Therefore, it is important to group the items you decide upon in single email orders. In other words, don't tell us to get something in the morning and then, later that same day, ask for another item. Unless you are really lucky, the first order will have already been read and processed, and you will end up with an unnecessary extra handling fee.  Although this fee reflects the standard UPS, COD fee, it is not a COD fee.

4) Payment must accompany all orders.  We do not ship COD to members.   When you place an order, it must be via email.  You can call to discuss an order, but the order is not final until we receive the specifics by email.  If you are paying by credit card, we process the charge at the time of the order.  If you are paying by check or money order, we process the order when we get the payment via US mail.

5) We accept Visa, Discover, Mastercard, American Express, check and money orders.

Please note that, because the credit card companies charge us for "non-qual" fees on any charge that is not "swiped" (read by sliding the card through the machine), we must pass on those charges to you. Accordingly, all credit card purchases must add 6% to the total bill -- EXCEPT DISCOVER CARD. Discover purchases add only 3% to your total bill, because they do not double their fees like the other #@*!%ing card companies!

Remember that all such charges can be avoided if you pay by check or money order. It only slows the process by a couple of days.

6) Member ordering errors and/or "change-of-mind" must bear all shipping and restocking fees where applicable. When products must be returned, it can take as long as six to eight weeks to get credit.

7) Any club membership can be canceled at any time, with a prorated refund, at CyberCycleStuff's sole discretion - although this has not happened in all of our eight years of buyers clubs.

That's about all. If there are any questions, please check the FAQ section. If there are more questions after that, please email Art@CyberCycleStuff.com.

FAQs:

Q: Can I get stuff fast?
A: Not really. Although some of our suppliers will "drop ship" to our customers, most do not. If you pick products from those suppliers who do, you get your stuff very fast. If not, the stuff has to be shipped to us before it goes to you. The exception to this, of course, is when we have it in stock already. Then it will be shipped by the day after your order is placed, unless there are other mitigating circumstances.

Q: Can you guys help me find hard to find stuff?
A: Usually not. As we grow, the demand on our "trouble shooting" time is just too much. We try to list or suggest Internet sites for that purpose. Feel free to ask for help, but don't be offended if it takes a long time for a response.

Q: What if I get the wrong stuff for my bike?
A: That depends upon who screwed up. If it was the supplier, it depends somewhat upon which supplier. If it was Cybercyclestuff, we'll "fix it" as fast as possible at our expense. If it was you who ordered the wrong application for your bike, you can still return most items, but you may have to wait from four to eight weeks for a credit!  And you might also have to pay the supplier's "restocking fees" and shipping!  So, it's a good idea to not screw up.

Q: How will I be able to know the amount of money I'll need for any parts, let alone a whole order?
A: That depends upon which club level you join, you'll only get catalogues with the Platinum level.  All other forms of purchasing from us will not be given CD or paper catalogues, although some such can be purchased.  Catalogs and pricing methods are different from supplier to supplier, and your options will vary according to your interests as well.

Q: How can I be certain either of these clubs makes sense for my circumstances?
A: It's all about volume. If you know that you and your friends are going to need a couple of pretty expensive items over the next six to twelve months, then it's a "no-brainer" to join. You'll save enough on the first order to make the membership pay for itself!
